We all know that pokemon have some type of influence to their design whether it's Japanese Mythology or the combination of elements and animals and plants and so forth. so if that's the case then what are they Legendary beasts based off of?

and since were on the subject let's try and find out the inspirations for many other pokemon like Conkeldurr. Seriously what is he? a clown carni? and what does his name derive from as well?
