I've seen some people play good with Smeargle. Instead of starting with it as a suicide lead, they keep it alive for sporing switch and escaping the fuck out of shit with parting shot, silly stringing if they find an opening. With the proper pivots it can be quite a big annoyance.

Most skilled players wont use Smeargle, but I've seen some decent Smeargle play high at the ladder a couple of times.
