gen 2-one of the worst fully evolved pokemon in the game
gen 3-gets huge power, but no moves to use it with other than return and brick break
gen 4-gets aqua jet. physical/special split means that azumarill can now use waterfall and ice punch. Also gets superpower
gen 5-nothing lol
gen 6-fairy typing. can now use aqua jet and belly drum on the same set

What will azumarill get in gen 7

Then said "lol special".

Those 10 extra points in attack would actually be a big deal with huge power. (Right now it has the equivalent of 150 base atk, 60-70 would bring it close to Deoxys A levels of attack)

No but it takes effect *after* EVs and IVs essentially allowing you 504 EVs and 62 IVs in Atk.

It doubles the actual Attack stat, 50 base Attack with maxed EVs and an Adamant nature makes the Attack stat 218. Double that is 436, which is equivalent to around 150 base Attack, way more than 100 base which is only 328. Huge Power wouldn't be such a big deal in most cases if it only doubled the base stat.

More fairy moves. Probably a physical priority move for Azu and that'll be it since it's already OP and has play miss, but we'll probably get a flinch, high-crit ratio, and special hydro miss equivalents at some point for the other fairies.

It's not base attack it doubles, it doubles the actual attack stat.

Play Rough is actually a reverse Meteor Mash when you think about it. They might give Fairies an equivalent of Psycho Cut or something.

It is but not on Azumarill. It's bulky with 100/80/80 but without huge power it's 50 base attack is just awful. Yeah Sap Sipper can give you a boost close to Huge Power with investment but it's just not worth it. Azumarill, especially the Choice Band set can take out most grass types with Play Rough or Super Power. It has no business fighting M-Venusaur in the first place who resists all of Azumarill's moves except Return or Double Edge (don't use them) so it's better to just switch him out.
