I made the mistake of rolling with Phanpy and Eevee. Phanpy doesnt get any moves and Eevee's run away is annoying as shit. I can't imagine challenging Darkrai

I agree on this, but some parts of the game's story writing was a bit lackluster compared to the rest of the series.

Axew w/ Dual Chop + Dragon Dance is sooo broken I could solo the legendary fights by myself. Was it worth unlocking all the songs in Meloetta's pad? Hell no, I want my hours back. You can't even close the 3DS and listen to it at the same time! Explorer of Sky's Jukebox was better!

It's hard to say. In terms of gameplay this game is a step back, removing the gummy system and having the hunger system limited to extra dungeons (which I don't mind. Time hurricane was bad enough.) The story is not as heartbreaking compared to Explorers of Time/Darkness but I think it's better than Rescue Team Red/Blue. There's hardly any post-game content but the adventure is worth playing through.

I love the music in this game, but you are really better off ripping the songs on an MP3 player. The jukebox just beats musical paradise in terms of replay options and allowing you to listen with headphones while the system is closed.

The animated short for Gates with Pikachu's ambition in it just made my day. I'll still rewatch that from time to time just because it's such a beautiful concept. That partner wanted to fix the world from the start. Other mystery dungeon games just didn't have that resolve. "I wanna explore things" didn't connect with me so much.

I'm not sure if the Special Episodes were in Time/Darkness, but the Special Episode with Grovyle and Dusknoir is arguably mandatory.

Here are some of my pros and cons
Pros:
>Actual Cutscenes
>Fucking Quagsire the first main character you meet other than your partner
>Great 3D Models
>Legendaries are actually fucking huge
Cons:
>only 108 Pokemon
>can't even recruit boss legendaries
>dungeons are dumbed down quite a bit (this could be counted as good or bad I suppose)
That's just my view on it, whether you agree with any of this is up to you

I played Red rescue team a long time ago, got to Zapdos (Or was it Moltres?) and stopped playing.
I got Explorers of Sky now, but haven't played it, though. Should I get Gates To Infinity? People saying it was bad makes me feel I would regret it.
