Wow, look how much of an oldfag he is! So knowledgeable! He obviously looked everywhere and didn't see the announcement that of course doesn't exist!

Shitposting aside, it DOES break the meta because it forces extremely long battles that ensure a win (unless a moderator gets involved) and lag the servers horrendously. So it had to be banned.

Not everyone leads with Taunt. One should not be forced to lead with Taunt, simply because of the possibility of a Funbro lead.

Other than that, it's very bulky and most leads can't 2KO it. Assuming someone switches in Funbro on a defensive mon, you have to switch out, thereby giving it a free Block.

Pretty much all teams are bulky offense right now, and there's a shitload of things that can deal with funbro, from special attacks, to 2HKO, to ghosts inmune to block, to poison, to roar, to volturn, batton pass...

It doesn't force shit. Then again if it threatens muh stall it must be banned, which hypocrital as fuck

Actually, the Balanced Hackmons ladder was what originally got the Funbro ban going. People were using unaware and the Funbro moveset on Jirachi, and it was becoming a problem there. Funbro existing in standard play (and starting to catch on outside of just showderp) gave them justification to actually make the Endless Battle Clause.

2% of Slowbros were Funbros. 2%. There was never a good reason to think any Slowbro was a Funbro.

If you switch Slowbro onto something like Ferrothron or some other thing that Slowbro doesn't really threaten, the opposing playing will just think "gee, free set-up." It's just not rational to expect your opponent to willingly cause a stalemate.
