Bug is an awful offensive type.
Defensively Ground and Fighting are key resists, but Rock and Fire are terrible weaknesses.

Here are some things that could make it better:

New ability- Triple Stinger- Attacks three times (the second and third may only do half damage)

Mega- 65/125/70/35/90/110 Ability- Triple Stinger (may be nerfed so that each hit does half damage so it would do the same as Parental Bond)

Moves- Megahorn, Attack Order, Defend Order, Heal Order, Gunk Shot, Twinneddle now has 50 BP and 20% to badly poison

Triple Stinger on Regular Beedrill would give it the same power as Huge Power and its other stats would hold it back.

<Mega Beedrill's Atk is the same as Mega Kangaskhan's so would do the same damage. It would be a little faster, but again The rest of its stats would hold it back. Also Triple stinger would make it take Rough Skin/Iron Barbs/Rocky Helmet three times.

Combining this with Swords Dance instantly puts Beedrill into UU, and likely into OU, simply because any STAB-boosted multi-hit move will sweep after two turns of setup. Put him on a wall, bulk up, and smash through with Rock Blast, Pin Missle, and Bullet Seed for coverage on half of the monotype spectrum.

He'll be the pinnacle of glass cannons, but it could work.

Yes, but Mega Kangaskhan also had 105/100/100 defenses while Mega Beedrill would only have 65/70/90 defenses. A STAB Stone Edge would probably be enough to take it out. Also Mega Khan got Power-Up Punch which basically gave it Swords Dance While also attacking while Mega Beedrill would only have Swords Dance which it probably wouldn't be able to set up without dying immediately after.

I just tried using it. I got the perfect chance to set up with it. I trapped a M-Venusaur with Infestation, and set up a Focus Energy, and proceeded to crit every single X-Sissor.

Take a guess at how much damage it took. Half. A Sniper boosted max attack Beedrill couldn't do more than half damage on a M-Venusaur. I know M-Venusaur is bulky...but come on.

Plus, the Beedrill was Max Sp. Def, and it took about 40% damage from a HP Fire from the M-Venusaur.

I imagine it'll have a pretty great niche in NU, but for right now he has absolutely no uses, which makes me sad.

Please Gamefreak, buff this little nigger.

I feel Beedrill's pain because I really like him, he's just doesn't have the Attack and Speed he needs. GF needs to get their shit together and realize that a 10 buff is nothing. They need to do real stat retcons.
