Its not so bad once you get used to them. Ive got about 105 hours and completed the first dex. Its really fun especially because I played so many other hacks. Also my #1 pick is pokemon Vega its unreal. Most of it isnt English but none the less it wicked fun

sadly, many hackers just aren't good. There are also better hackers but they are Japanese and make games obviously in Japanese text. No one ever english patches those games so it kinda sucks.

In the first Hoenn forest area(I forget the name), a trainer is like 10 levels above the wild Pokemon. It's unrelenting, too. The battles after had even higher levels.

http://imgur.com/a/Yrx6h Heres some screen shots of types and sprites. Theres an area where you pay all your money and all pokemon are shiny so thats why I have them. Also there are EV training areas which are super helpful.

I picked Paras too, and I had to train up a Poochyena to beat it(I used Howl to raise my attack against Houndsour). Luckily, my Poochyena later evolved into Gigawolf, and has been fucking shit up since then.
