"Original Kyurem" is a strong regional legendary.
Arceus created the entire universe.

I really don't get why so many people seem to be incapable of understanding just how hilariously untouchable Arceus is lore-wise.

I subscribe to the belief that Arceus didn't actually create the universe and that's just Sinnoh legend based on what an incredibly powerful pokemon he was. If Arceus really were god you wouldn't be able to intelligibly understand the singularity of his existence.

I'd much rather believe that Arceus is an expression of God with the physical limitations of being a pokemon, like Jesus being as close to God as you could get while being a human.

No, you're looking it at a monostheistic god.

Arceus being a creator god fits the bill of any polytheisic god. Also they did refer to the Arceus we see not as its true form.
