I remember the struggle of raising you, blind, timid, and surrounded by ferocious predators, to levels far beyond what any of the others called for in order to grant you your wish of destroying those who mocked you by existing in a world that wasn't specifically engineered to torment them. In your triumph over adversity, I found inspiration.
We beat out all of the pretenders. We turned father against son. We bitch-slapped deities. It was awesome.
