That's basically what I'm doing, I've got a 6IV ditto in with a (x/31/31/31/31/0) Yamask, Quiet with Nasty Plot, Toxic Spikes, Memento, and Fake Tears.

I usually find something around 20 boxes, after a week I switch to another species though

It's named "Masuda Box [x]". Every time it gets full, I release all of them and change the name so I can save space and still keep track of how many eggs I've hatched.

a week isn't much when dealing with that sort of probabilities.
Thing is, I haven't encountered a single wild shiny yet, all I had is fishing and eggs. With the charm I think I have a chance to get some safari shini at the very least.

I mean, I got my charm, I'm not gonna continue putting legendaries for legendaries, so by getting mine, I effectively removed 3 legendaries from the trading place. this + people keeping scamming kids with ditto is reducing the number of legendaries available over time. cloning isn't enough to sustain the market.

Currently chaining shelmet in lavarre nature trail, there's one semi good spot in the middle to chain in. currently at 6, almost no good patches at all. Hopefully I'll get that funky music/increased shiny rate soon.

from what i've gathered it's an increased shiny rate during the music, it usually stays for about 4 resets. should make it easier getting shinies from routes with few bushes

Currently gatering box 11 of my Beldums. I've hatched only 300 of these little fuckers, so I have no room to complain like all those other guys who have hatched 800+ eggs. Still I'm getting kinda bored hatching all these little shits.

At least Snorunt has an even gender ratio. Combee guy was up against a 1/8th ratio and got five males before getting his female 530+ boxes in.

Was looking for a Mawile in Glittering Cave and lo and behold a wild shiny Onix appeared! Well like I said serebii said that the shiny rate has increased even more this gen but I guess we can't know for sure. But in gen IV it was about 1/2000 then in gen V it was about 1/1300 so it increased by quite a bit in gen V. I just find it odd that I've found 2 random shinies yet I've bred 4 boxes of Bulbasaurs and still haven't gotten anything. Shiny Bulba is a fucking qt3.14

Well someone said that the random IV and shiny value its generated when you pick the egg not when its generated. So in theory its possible to soft reset a perfect shiny mon gender-ivs-ability-wise and not go through the painful "oh it doesnt have the desired ha or gender"
