U-turn is essential, it lets it get out from slow threats it can't reliably OHKO with acrobatics or its rock STAB, and breaks sashes.
Sticky web and stealth rock support is invaluable for Archeops. With webs down in clear weather, 252 jolly Archeops outspeeds absolutely every non-scarfed pokemon that isn't flying type or levitating, and it outspeeds most of those anyway. Stealth rock is useful for obvious reasons, though Archeops doesn't want them on its side of the field, so a team-mate with rapid spin or defog helps a lot.
Make sure you have something on your team that can switch in on powerful priority and most common steel-types and bullky waters.
As far as rock STABS go, it's up to your preference. Head smash is a nuke, but it's unreliable and costly. Stone Edge is reasonably powerful with no recoil, but also inaccurate. Archeop's Rock Slide is still more powerful than most ground-types' Stone Edge, and carries a flinch chance. It's also more accurate than either Head Smash or Stone Edge.
