I made the list of things to do to keep the game's goals in check, it was posted in all the OP's for a while, but was completely ignored. I contributed nothing else to the project, because I knew it would fail. The list is a constant reminder of how they fucked up though.

I like /vp/ working on group projects, but I know nothing will ever get done. Projects like these are really only made by a handle of qualified individuals. Everyone can be an ideaman and a critic, but only a handful actually work on the meat of the game, and once those people get bored or sick of it, the projects die.

Why not just make a hack of Emerald with all Gen VI mons, moves, types, and abilities and all that? Someone already did a FireRed hack with Gen V pokemon and their attacks and abilities.

The only issue is placement of items and pokemon.

I was in the first thread, where somebody posted a picture of a redone Dewford and it sparked the idea of creating a remake. Honestly, I didn't think it would last more than two days, so I'm impressed it lasted a week or so, since /vp/ is known for starting projects but not completing them.
