what the fuck man, it bugs me so much when i lose to teams with nothing but OU Pokemon. People use Pokemon that are strong and not Pokemon that they like. Is it stupid to get mad over this? I mean fuck, you don't actually like these Pokemon you just like winning.

Especially if your playing Rated Battle, or on a Simulator.

I started Pearl when I was 6 (okay 13) and all the pokemon I liked were cool 'n' edgy. Even still, my list of favorites includes Lucario. Now Lucario was OU in gens 4 and 5, but he wasn't great. I used him anyway, he was my nigga. I named my first one Nightshade for some dumbfuck reason and I've named all of that them since. People can like Pokemon for reasons other than their strength.

Choose 2 or 3 OU Pokémon that you like and use the rest as your non-OU favourites. It's not hard.

Well, i guess I could maybe hammer out an all right sun team with that, but I tend to just run with mons I like to use.

I'm actually really annoyed about talonflame, I liked his design, fletchling was the first mon I caught this gen, and my talonflame has EVs all over the place, fuck knows what IVs and a nature that boosts special attack. I like him as a suicide bomber but he probably sees most use as an egg hatcher. He's a bro, but if I so much as mention battling with him its all "lol fucking smogonbird fag git gud" stuff, its weird.
