I wouldn't call myself either of those things, but I still don't like the damn thing.

Honestly, it's the color scheme I don't like. The red cheeks are stupid. I'd like it a little more if it had Raichu's color scheme.

I guess I also resent the stupid rodent for always being shoved into everything, denying Raichu and some other underrated cuties the attention they deserve.

Although Raichu did get a speed buff this gen which has softened the butthurt a little but.

Being the franchise mascot is not a valid excuse to hate Pikachu.

The only people who care that your favorite Pokemon is someone the general public isn't aware of are other twentysomething lardass nerds.

That being said, I've always liked Raichu better and I'm a little bummed about everything.

The anime kind of ruined him on me. Specifically when they changed all the voice actors, and hearing Ash's horrible new voice actor yelling Pikachu made me want to gorge out my eyes. Now I just can't help but view all Pikachu as some anorexic marysue rat.
