Heh, you haven't done it or something? Each second of the delay is a frame. It can take weeks for a 1billion frame RNG project. I'm doing a couple now. It took me 10 hours to filter through TID/SID generation for some decent ID combos. Of course, I'm doing Emerald though.

Don't be a fucking luddite. Just bite the bullet and do it. Once you learn, you can have perfect legitimate generated in-game Pokemon at your fingertips.

How were you supposed to find the correct timer0 in BW2 again? I remember to have done the calibration phase something like twenty times to no avail.

Grab a video tutorial or two, it's what helped me finally learn how to gen V RNG. And it's really easy once you get the hang of it, it's a walk in the park of Gen V
(This is from someone who consistently can't learn Gen IV's RNG for the life in them)

Bearsfan 09-whatever does some good one's.
He's annoying to listen to, but they'll get you there.

There's like 4 of them running or some shit IIRC and it's semi-random on which one gives you your starting seed. Try calibrating like 3 to 4 times and see which different timer0s you get and keep a log of them. I really try not to bother with the sequels.

Is it normal for the starting frame that the reporter gives you to be off as fuck? I did the target frame - initial frame - 1 formula that Nugget Bridge gave me, and I'm consistently off my frame by about 2 or 3, and I always have to re-adjust.

eontimer is a two-stage timer
-one for the seconds upon booting from ds menu
-one for the delay upon entering the game

the delay is a number (roughly seconds since cold boot*60) that is determined when you enter the game from the menu (ie, pressing A)

for eontimer you boot from the ds menu the first time it hits zero, and you enter the game the second time it hits zero
