I got 2 shinies in about 2 hours while battling hordes, but they weren't the Pokemon I wanted. I haven't tried Masuda method since I got the Shiny Charm.
I safari grinded for like 5 hours before getting a shiny, but at least it was the one I wanted.The safari seems no different from before the Shiny Charm. I guess it makes sense with the flavor text- a safari isn't the same thing as the wild, and the rates were really high there to begin with.
