Where the FUCK are people getting all these pokebank legendaries from? I know, obviously, once you get ONE, you can just GTS back and forth to fill your dex up, but how do you even get that first one?

A common go-to seems to be Suicune because everyone and their grandmother has Suicune.

I got all bank legends without using a single shiny or legend, you just have to figure out what they're worth. You can get latios and the lake trio very easily, however lugia and rayquaza etc. can be harder

You could get all of them without cloning or giving up a legendary or shiny, and it was pretty damn easy back when Pokebank first came out in Japan.

Get a rare pokebank pokemon (Something that can't be caught in unova or kalos) like purugly or stantler and trade it for an unown on the gts. Trade the unown for an Yveltal or Xerneas, trade that for Articuno, trade that for a legendary sword, and boom. Since unown can't be bred, all of them come from pokebank, making them the rarest and most sought after pokebank non-legend. Then you just climb the ladder.
