I think of this generation as sort of the harvest of all my efforts since RBY. Never saw one in the wild before Gen VI, only managed to MM one in black.

Still haven't encountered any shinies in the "wild" but I bred a shiny Fennekin, caught a shiny Aipom in Friend Safari, chained a Zoroark, caught a shiny Manectric in Friend Safari.

This gen was a good gen.

Not specifically for shinies, but I've bred lots of 5IV Pokemon. I just want to encounter one randomly like I did that one time in Pokemon Crystal back around 2003.

I've been playing Pokemon for more than 10 years and I've never seen a non event shiny. Not one. Not even in Y, not even in any of the fucking Friend Safaris. Kill me.

I don't actually care that much, honestly. Shinies aren't that big a deal. But at this point, I'm really just waiting to freaking catch one already.

Dude i got both my FS shinies in under 10 15 minutes, the rate is drastically lowered. I would wager you could have one running around for an hour, maybe two.

Just pick one where you wanted mind any of the three shinies.

I usually don't care for shinies, as their color palettes are so dumb in most of the cases, imo. Anyway, it's a thrill when you first encounter one, because I'm a Crystal fag and the rates back then were low as fuck. I recently killed a shiny Ratatta in the wild while emulating Crystal in my smartphone and I almost killed myself after that...
