Whimsicott, Thundurus, Tornadus, Murkrow, and Liepard are all faster prankster taunters than Sableye. At 50 speed, he's the slowest prankster in the game. Mega Sableye would have been great. Fuck Game Freak for always favoring 1 pokemon in a pair. Scyther got a natural evolution, Pinsir didn't. Mawile got a mega, Sableye didn't.

Ominous Wind
Baton Pass

Bring him in after a pokemon gets KO'd and you think you can get that boost, or one that it can tank or stall to get a few boosts in. Once Weakness Policy is consumed he can KO back with Ominous Wind with an unmarked doubling of speed (Unburden doesnt show the stat increase to your opponent) or get off the Baton Pass without dying. Ominous also has the same effect as AncientPower where theres a small chance for a +1 boost in all 5 stats which is kinda fun :) He is only good for one boost attempt, but this strategy catches people off gaurd and makes for fun battles. So far his best teammate for support is Sticky Web Galv, and bulky pokemon really appreciate the baton passes. Look out for whirlwind/roar, protean ninja ice beams, strong thunder/tbolts, stone edges, and other super stab super effective attacks because despite the 7th most hp as of gen 5 sometimes this balloon pops before it can get off the ground.

You could always use hydration+rest on a rain team with him. Weather is still pretty viable in doubles this gen. Dragon Dance, Rest, EQ, Waterfall would work. Or use him in a gen 5 battle for that perma rain.

M-Mawiles raw base attack is 105, M-Medichams is 100.

MMedi HJK is the strongest unboosted attack because it has STAB and a raw base power of 130, while MMawiles strongest STAB is Play Rough with raw bp of 90.

Most people only have three pokemon max with priority.
Besides, the set has more uses than just that.
You can revenge kill sweepers and possibly sweep in return, you can lead with it and set up on less intelligent players who think they'll just one shot you after you kill their lead and get two or three free kills.
I think a bigger drawback to the set than priority is pokemon that don't hit hard enough to pop sash even with SE hits, but hit hard enough to nearly kill you, and these fucks are everywhere in OU. You wouldn't believe how many idiots think Stone Edge is SE against Hawlucha

Put helio on a doubles rain team. I pair him up with volt absorb lanturn and storm drain gastrodon. Parabolic charge and surf are the go to attacks. I normally play singles but it's nice to see some lesser used Pokemon be viable because of the different play style in doubles/triples.

Well doubles is the standard play style for vgc. Singles is only popular on showdown. Everything "official" is doubles anymore. Hence all the doubles/triples moves and abilities in the game.

A Charizard X (base Attack of 130) with 252 Attack EVs, an Attack boosting nature and Tough Claws (33% boost to moves that make contact) using Flare Blitz (base power of 120) vs an Avalugg with 252HP EVs and 252 Def EVs and a Defense boosting nature (which I assume is the most common Avalugg you'll see) dose between 68 and 80% damage.

That same Mega Charizard X (base Special Attack of 130) with zero EV investment in Sp. Attack and a nature that weakens Sp. Attack does the same amount of damage to that Avalugg with Hidden Power Fire, which has a base power of just 60.

aka a Charizard X with the highest possible Attack it can have + a damage boosting ability with a base 120 power move does the same as a Charizard X with the lowest possible Special Attack does with a base 60 power move. Because Avalugg has shitty special defense.

At least I think I explained all that right.
