Okay no, I refuse to believe this MM actually works. That or I am doing something terribly wrong because there's no way I can be this unlucky.
I have been grinding for one, and only one shiny, that I actually give a shit about for the past 5 days. 5 days of nothing but grinding from when I wake up, to when I go asleep. So 10-12 hours a day of non stop grinding, for 5 days.
First of all, somebody tell me if I'm actually doing this right because this is unbelievable.
I have a jap male mon (also tried a female one to for the first 2 and a half days) in with my non jap female. They both "like each other a lot" so getting eggs is immensely fast. Since they're Furfrou eggs, they are also quick as fuck to hatch too. I hatch the 5 eggs at a time, of course with my talonflame with flamebody in my party. I go into the daycare, release the 5 non shinies (because I no longer care what IV's the normal ones have since I already have 4 boxes filled with pentaperfect Furfrou's), then go out and repeat the process.
Unless I've made a critical error, then that is how you MM, right? Well then why the fuck isn't it working. I swear, after I get this piece of shit shiny, I'm not even going to bother going for another one. I'm going to wait for pokebank and gen everything I would like because this is beyond the joke.
I don't know how many "boxes" of mons I've gone through since I've been doing this in a very unorganized way but I can only imagine it to be in the hundreds now.
