Hi there, I've been working for years with Nintendo as a translator and this time I came across something big. Some days ago they held a meeting with various localisation teams from around the world to discuss plans for the new Pokémon game.
Only a little info about the games themselves has been revealed and it's pretty big stuff:

- games are called Pokémon Plus and Pokémon Minus

- new Pokémon are in the game but not so much of them; confirmed new trend of releasing new generations after short times but with less new Pokémon

- Legendaries are called Shifalus (シフェラス, Shiferasu) and Myphoona (ミフーナ, Mifūna): Shifalus is a Psychic/Ground Pokémon, his height is 3 m and his weight 376 kg; Myphoona is Ghost/Fairy, his height is 4,79 m and his weight 190 kg

- no new Pokémon similar to Pikachu, but mega evolutions of Plusle and Minun to represent the generation

- Shuckle was named several times during the meeting

Next they talked about stuff regarding spinoffs. Guess it's all that's known for now
