I honestly regret getting the 3ds.

The 3D is terrible and I almost never use it.
I also never bring it outside with me so the fact that it can fold means little.

I could've saved like 80 dollars and bought like a couple awesome deep dish pizzas or a cheap hooker or something.

I only got the 3DSXL because it was on sale and came with the new Zelda game. Honestly, the 3D mode is a pain to use because you have to hold the damn thing perfectly still and can't move your head or else shit gets blurry. Also drains battery some 3 times faster. Did I mention that it actually bogs down the rendering capabilities of the 3DS? If you turn on the 3D function in horde battles, you will notice significant framerate hit.

I would have preferred a 2DS if it weren't for the fact that it doesn't fold.

No, I've never seen a public transportation bus in my life. I didn't even know there still was such a thing until I was an adult. I live in Texas, one of the stereotypical "poor redneck" states, and everybody here has their own car, we don't need buses.

i like having a system that doesn't need a case to protect the screens and actually looks good, not like a goddamn tablet.
you can also nitpick all day about resolution and pixels, but the bigger screens on the xl are just so much more enjoyable and nice.

The only complaint I have about the 2ds is that the loading screens still say 3ds and it constantly reminds you that you can't take 3d pictures. I never take it anywhere other than school for the time in between classes.

I wouldn't know, the only place that sells stuff like that here is Walmart. But if you don't mind the smaller screens (than a 3DSXL) and the fact that it just looks goofy, I'd go for the 2DS. Oh, and if you're planning on taking it into public, it will not fit in your pocket.

Only if you wear girl pants.Any pants for males will easily hold an XL + whatever. I routinely carry my GS4 and my XL in one pocket and there's no issue

I could buy 5 of any console or handheld I want and all the games for them. I choose to only use 3DS, I bought the original upon release and got the XL for animal crossing. Prefer the XL. I don't use 3D mode.
