I agree, not sure I have the patience to MM a shiny but over my time playing I've caught several just randomly appearing shinys, the lastest being a Seviper when I was attempting to horde ev train a pokemon in speed. Sure the random ones are all shit but it just feels so cool to randomly come upon one.

I recently made it into a Gardevoire. I'm trying again right now to MM for a Gallade, I'm going to make them shiny siblings for battle. The Gardevoire needs a good support moveset though, all I've got is Reflect, Will-O-Wisp, Disable, and Destiny Bond.

my only disapointing shinies are my villvion that I caught as a scatterbug 30min in on day one only because I have high plains, other than that I love it. I also am disapointed that my shiny magikarp came out lax when I was going for adamant. By far the worst was spending like 2 hours trying to chain for a chinchou and it came out adamant. I did get 2 remoraids inbetween and I got xerneas out of it so I guess it made up for it.

I was in Mt. coronet in white 2 with Bianca and I found a shiny excadrill in a double battle. I of course was terrified that Bianca was gonna try and wreck it's shit with her fucking mienfoo and chansey so I knocked those fuckers out real quick and caught the majestic motherfucker. I take the beautiful bastard and it has a neutral nature with decent all around ivs. I mean a shiny is a shiny and shiny excadrill looks pretty based so I'm not too disappointed
