You are Calem, the ambiguously aged 15-16 year old boy from Vaniville Town. After restoring peace to the Kalos Power Plant in the Badlands on Route 13, power returned to Lumiose City. Your reward for it is a mysterious orb known as the Adamant Orb. Not that you know that, you haven't a clue what the damn thing is nor what its purpose is.
The trek over to the bustling metropolis is daunting, but eventually you make it with a few scratches and bruises to your name.
As the not-so mysterious masked heroes advised, the first thing you do as soon as you enter the town is make your way over to your stepfather's laboratory for what was advertised as a very, very important meeting.
...Which turns out to be about building a series of gazebos in every plaza in the city to make it up for all the damage you've been causing for the past few weeks.
Serena raises a dainty finger, "Excuse me, professor, but why gazebos?"
