So when did you start getting interested in Evs and IVs. Personally, I started caring about evs in the 4th gen, and IVs in the 5th, even though I only tried to get the 3 most important IVs on a pokemon, although I was lucky on 2 pokemon. Now I aim for 5-6 unless the pokemon in question is slow as fuck.
