When you see somebody on the bus/train/ other public area playing their 3ds, do you ask them friend you?

I've done this twice this weekend, and it's strangely not weird.

well, i've talked to a chick in my spanish class who was playing. i gave her a jolly totodile with 4 ivs and ddance/crunch/aqua jet/ice punch. didn't tell her that, though, just said "i'll give you a totodile if you want"

first guy was late 20s and possible wizard. I had to show him how to FC and streetpass since he had just gotten the system. no worries though.

second guy was about 19 and wearing a charizard beanie, and that amount of dedication required a new fc.

i guess that i thought it might be weird because i normally dont talk to anyone on the train and keep to myself. glad that poke-peeps are mellow.

Always see people playing at my Uni, and I just casually ask if they are playing Pokemon, and what they are doing so far in the game. Usually leads to a battle, then a trade.

People approach me when they see me playing too.
