It's easier than looking for Pokemon that give specific EV's, and then only to give you one or two at a time. You get a ton more at a time from Super Training (like minimum 12).

The highest Sp. Atk horde I've managed to find is 5*1. Even ignoring the setup time for attracting hordes, I can get +12 within 30 seconds which is quicker and more fun

You have to beat the game, spend an hour getting the items, then find a Pokémon with sweet scent, then go to all the different routes, all before you can even begin to EV train. I can max my Starters EV's, just for example, in ten minutes, right after obtaining it at the beginning of the game, before I've even taken a step. I know it's hard for people to admit they're wrong, but this is sad.

The fact that it takes around an hour to get all of them. It even says so in the guide:

"This may seem a while, but when you get 20 straight wins in Single Battle (Which should only take an half an hour, if you use your final in game team) And defeat the boss, the 20th fight, you should have 48 BP. So it only takes about an hour of sustained effort to get all of these."

Why would you EV train ingame in the first place? It serves no purpose, the game is already piss easy as it is. The only thing your "ST is avaliable just at the beginning" argument proofs is that Horde battling is still superior when it matters.

I had beaten all the vanilla trainers and all the wandering Gym Leaders and 3/4 of the Elite 4 but for the life of me Wikstrom would NOT come in for a battle.

Then I found out using the Silver Writ of Invitation makes trainers come in the Chateau at a ridiculous rate (max 10 at a time I think). Just keep killing trainers in there with the Silver Writ on and eventually you'll face the one or two people you haven't.

Then exit the Chateau and re-enter and a guy will tell you you're Grand Duke.

So getting items, getting a Pokemon with sweet scent, flying to the place, and using sweet scent?

1 hour that you'll never have to do again
Catching oddish so maybe 5 minutes if the mon is being a bitch and doesn't want to get caught. Won't ever have to do this step again.

1 hour 5 minutes of prep time never have to be done again.

Flying takes what 30s?
Sweet scent takes a few seconds. I'll give you 30s.

1 minute of getting to the place and using sweet scent.

If it takes 5-10 minutes per pokemon and takes an hour for your method, in about 2 and a half hours you're done with 2 1/2 pokemon and I'm done with all 6.

Actually I did, you claim your arguments are better than the ones given to you. But the fact that you only keep saying "B-But you get it from the start and don't have to get BP" doesn't prove how Super Training can be better.
And that's not your fault, though. Because it actually isn't better than Horde Battling. You can say "You need to beat the game to do Horde battles" all you want, but when you compare both while time grows constantly, you realize the time you need to start doing Hord battles falls short against the time you need to ST even just a full team.

Either you don't know how a linear vs an exponential growth works or you're just baiting to fullfill your epic trole needs. I'm done wasting my time with you. You will probably will come up with some retarded reply like "He left cuz I'm right hahahahah XD".

First off, this entire section is just sad. I'm not going to go into how pathetic it is.

Even if you aren't waiting to beat the game, you're waiting until you have fly (which if you don't, you'll be walking all over the map, which is even more ridiculous). Now it seems that you are just trying to win the argument, and throw the right answer out of the window, so long as you can say you won. You're not going to get very far in life with that attitude.

I have EV trained ~100 pokemon in my 700h of Y. At first I was using ST, but it got pretty tiring and boring. It took at least half an hour to train a single pokemon, and I had to do it all again when I trained a new pokemon. Then I tried Horde training. Sure, I had to take some time and slowly buy Power Items. That took an hour or too, but who cares? I can now easily train 3-4 pokemon at once in max 15 minutes. I don't have to buy new Power Items each time I go training. It saved fucking hours of my time. So don't get me started about how ST is faster than Hordes. Because it's not.

I even had a note pad where I tallied ev totals

Then I started using hordes, did I cacturne and mienshao in about 5 minutes (they were both max speed max attack) and never looked back.

I tear shit up in ST and it still takes about 15-30 seconds per LV3; after 100 free from vitamins you'll need to do 12 LV3s and one LV2 to max a stat. So was around twenty minutes per poke (since the ball starts out weak until you apply more EVs). I know dicknuts is trolling but some of our more retarded individuals might get the wrong idea.

Take it from a convert, ST is ass. The only thing it's good for would be rare stones and PP Ups but of course even those aren't guaranteed..
