"Good", as in, people think it's good. It isn't because it has shit stats except for speed, but speed doesn't matters for it since it has Gale Wings. Really, Talonflame without Gale Wings would be almost the same thing since it's already fast as fuck.

Moltres is slower than EVERY other Fully-evolved Fire/Flying type. It gets Heat Wave and Hurricane, sure, but that doesn't mean shit if it's not fast enough to use them.

Charizard has speed and power in either Mega.
Ho-oh has balk, Regenerator, and Sacred Fire.
Talonflame has Gale Wings, Brave Bird, and Flare Blitza.

Moltres isn't even that bad, you just have to play to the stegths it has over other fire/flying types (defensive sets, HurriRain abuse).

I never got this kind of crying. The ability is part of the pokémon. Imagine Luvdisc with Gale Wings. It would suck.
Talonflame it's as much Gale Wings as he is his speed or attack stat and his movepool.
