What am I doing wrong /vp/ ? I have two of these fucking in the day care, both with 5iv's. One's holding a destiny knot, the other an everstone. Why am I still getting eggs that only have 3 perfect iv's? Shouldn't they all have 5 iv's?

nope. knot only takes 5 ivs total from both parents, so even if you have 31/x/31/31/31/31 on both and that's what you're looking for, you're only getting a 5iv baby ~20% of the time

If the imperfect IVs aren't in the same stat, then no. Example:

31/X/31/31/31/31
31/31/31/X/31/31
Pick 5 stats
[31]/[X]/31/31/31/31
31/31/[31]/[X]/[31]/31
Last stat is generated at random. Offspring now has:
31/X/31/X/31/X

3 IVs. Learn to breed, it's not even hard.
