Yeah that was a shame. Perhaps they'll bring it back for Z?

I know most folks here hated the whole ocean/diving stuff of Hoenn, but I loved it all. Finding that Regi chamber for the first time was amazing to my young little mind.

Same, I loved the diving. It would be awesome to see it in Z/X2Y2/Emerald remake

Things XY did right:
>Trainer customization FINALLY
>Having older Pokemon available during the main story (something BW did very wrong)
>Having the US version released at the same time as everything else so no spoilers

Best part of Gen III, I really hope they bring it back, and expand on it. The diving Gen V had was so lackluster in comparison. Vast expanses of 3D underwater sand and seaweed, even if they had no real purpose other than a few uncommon pokemon, would be amazing.

>tfw we'll never get RSE remakes or sequels in full 3D with all the modern mechanics

This. It was ridiculously frustrating to be told that this wimpy, slim sapling was barring me from the next area. It looks like something my trainer could easily push aside. The brambles, on the other hand, nobody would want to touch.
