>>17387764I've only seen the dub (excuse my pleb use of Americanized names, oh great ones), but here's a short laundry list from me:
* Davis and Veemon have probably the most entertaining and endearing partnership second to Marcus and Agumon. These guys carry the weight of the season on their shoulders.
* Yolei and Cody are absolutely worthless, and T.K. and Kari barely have any presence at all aside from a few decent moments.
* Ken's PTSD after turning "good" could have been interesting, but he just became annoyingly ambivalent and whiny
* The ending, of course
* Various WTFs throughout the season. Someone else mentioned this particular one which makes me satisfied: everyone but one person (guess who) refused to destroy a blatantly evil Digimon who was about to break a dam and kill a bunch of baby Digimon. C'mon son. Also the grayscale world Kari went to that was abruptly forgot about.
* Mummymon and Arukenimon.
It had its good parts, but they were insufficient.
* BlackWarGreymon was pretty well-done. Unfortunately his send-off was rather unceremonious.
* Kenperor was a pretty sinister villain, so much so that his turning good was probably a noticeable drop-off point in the season.
* The world tour gets a lot of flak, but it did showcase the first team a bit, and seeing everyone in new locales was at least partly cool.
* Armor digivolving is awesome. Steve Blum as Flamedramon makes for one of the most badass things ever.
