Yea, I've only dealt with small servers, but I'm sure it doesnt take this long to stress test.. I think Nintendo's lack of communication is just as bad inside too. Like it takes days to stress test, then another few days to plan a meeting to discuss relaunch, then another few days to prepare the launch, etc..

It was probably a mix of the two. I wouldn't be surprised.

Pokebank was taken down because they blamed it for the eshop crash. I don't know if that's the real reason or not.

Well I think the problem was on Nintendo's servers. People are using the bank just fine in Japan. I honestly dont know why they are holding it back since christmas is long gone now. Honestly, they should have just let shit work itself out because now when they release it, there will be a mass panic download, probably worse then christmas.
