M-Chomp shines in Doubles with Tyranitar next to him. That Sand Force with his already balls high ATK stat make Earthquake ridiculously powerful. It also makes Stone Edge Garchomp equally powerful in doubles when you see mass flyers to avoid Earthquake.

You can sub while in normal chomp to abuse sand viel, and once the opponent misses, you just go mega behind the sub and nuke everything on the field. One of the best in singles and a top tier threat in doubles, garchomp is the pokemon to be.

You Start with Tyranitar and Mandibuzz...get up sand, which Tyranitar with Garchomp and have Mandibuzz use Tailwind. Then proceed to completely rape EVERY DAMN THING with a Garchomp that knows Stone Edge, Dragon Claw, Earthquake and Fire Fang.

Megachomp gets a sp. atk boost, and fire blast always does more damage than fire fang, not to mention that metagross and scizor have shit tier sp. def compared to their defense.

Nah. Garchomp doesn't deserve more special treatment.

Lucario - on the other hand - needs to be improved to stay afloat.

Its two out of three abilities, steadfast and justified, are completely and utterly useless. Why not lend Lucario a helping hand and buff those two abilities to make an interesting performance alternative?

I mean, Lucario's mascot status calls for it!

This doesn't work in VGC for obvious reasons (Mandibuzz not being there). Problem being that if a Smogonbird uses Tailwind as well then that strat is useless. Or God forbid a Machamp be there.

Also Scarf Salamence is a thing right now so if you start T-Tar and Garchomp he outspeeds a Sub and will OHKO with Metoer. Or he can Hydro Pump and probably 2HKO the T-Tar if its by itself.
