Hiya, /vp/. If it's okay, I'd like to bring up the subject of an older generation. Specifically, event Pokemon in gen IV. We all know that Pokemon with fixed natures have set PIDs and that IVs are completely independent of them, but does this apply to event Pokemon with dynamic natures? A little bit of tinkering with a Celebi PKM and Pokecheck a few months back seemed to indicate this, but why the hell should I trust my own possibly biased findings? I've spent the past few hours digging around in google for answers, but have been met with mixed and inconclusive messages.

TL;DR can you SR for a gen IV event's nature and then edit the IVs to your own liking, and the file maintain "legality"? I'm sure I'll get some flak for bringing up hacking and editing, but this is a curiosity that's driving me crazy and I haven't been able to find any concrete information on my own.
