elemental punches need to be buffed to 95 power. it's really unfair the physical attackers have to risk effects from their contact moves (rocky helmet, flame body, static) and become useless after being burned while special attackers dont

Yeah right. And yes, I know that contact doesn't always mean physical but most contacting moves are definitely physical. Grass Knot is the ONLY viable contacting special move. Way too many abilities are here just to fuck with physical attackers and the fact that you can basically render a physical attacker completely useless with one move without having to KO it is absolutely ridiculous. Special attackers have it easy, and GF definitely loves them.

Let's see, special attackers have to rely on low BP moves.
Special attackers have to deal with assault vest.
Hardly anything gets Nasty Plot while fucking everything gets swords dance.
Physical attackers don't have to deal with a Blissey.
Physical attackers get utter bullshit like Close Combat and Earthquake.

Compare. Calm Mind beats Bulk Up but Nasty Plot/Swords Dance are better.

There's also the fact that all the high-powered special moves are either 85% accuracy, have a recharge turn, or halve your special attack. A lot of the physical moves, like Flare Blitz, Brave Bird, Close Combat, Super Power, Double Edge, etc. are completely spammable.

There's two reasons you run special: so you don't get hosed by physical walls, and because physical cripplers can't hurt them.

Physical is the better offensive standing, but special has that tinge of 'I support due to scarcity of hosing', and even then there's still an assload of special walls.

Why yes, clearly all that hate against Physical pokemon makes them worse then special pokemon. It's not like Physical is far better supported than special, and even with the 'hate' physical pokemon are still the superior go to for sweepers in general.
