Pokemon centers are pretty awesome, check out the battle arcade games in the back. Neat tokens when you catch the Pokemon. I'm working on collecting them all. They've also got some really reasonably priced merch. Bags that would go for 25-30 in America are about 1,000 yen there. I got a really nice bookbag for 1,150.
There's a Pokemon amusement park I heard about but never got a chance to see. You're going to get streetpasses, more than you can handle without constantly checking. If you play ACNL, some of my best houses I got from those streetpasses.
