Sort of. It absorbs Paralysis and Burns and it resists everything Genesect can throw at it bar Surf or something and can OHKO shit like Ferrothorn or whatever.

It's definitely got a lot of merit.

It's the second best Rotom form, so it's pretty good. Deals with Talonflame just as well as Rotom-W, and takes care of shit like Scizor, Ferrothorn and Genesect.

Yes it's viable OP. As someone who's used it to around 2k on Showdown I suggest running more than one way to remove rocks from the field. If you can keep them off the field you can light up the night.

It completely walls Genesect, since some Genesects carry Energy Ball.

It's immune to Paralysis and Burn.

The only thing is that it was two common weaknesses (as opposed to W's one uncommon weakness) and is weak to pebbles.

Because at +1 SPEC.A. it can one shot some of the biggest threats in the meta without fear of retaliation.

Fear of it getting +1 special attack was so great in previous gens some people ev'd their Pokemon with higher SPEC.D. so it'd get +1 to ATK instead.

Genesect doesn't belong in OU.[/spoiler

Much larger special movepool I'd guess.

Either way, now that EVs are calculated after each fight apparently, it isn't exactly hard to change them around.

...well i can understand if maybe they like the shiny color more, it's not like there's a finite number of them anyway.
