Do you ever feel the need to hide your powerlevel when around casuals and just go with the flow, or do you chime in and try to explain things to them?

For example, say some girl battles you and uses a non-light ball Pikachu. What would you do? Commend her on using her favorite, explain that Pikachu is only remotely usable with a light ball, or tell her to replace it with poke X that does its job better?
