Farfetch'd is a given, but it's just about GF's version of a meme: make the poor duck fall just short of an improvement on purpose.

This gen it was mostly "fuck you, no megas." Which is sad because I'd actually enjoy a shitty mega for it that made it somehow worse than it's normal form.

Honchkrow can be extremely powerful if you get off a moxie boost, and use Sub + Sucker Punch. Also Dark/Flying before Fairy wasn't really any worse than Normal/Flying.

It got Flare Blitz like everyone wanted and nobody ever realized its speed and defenses were still awful as fuck

Fire type Extremespeed gives it a niche, doesn't give a fuck about its speed, if you can kill that means it doesn't give a fuck about its defenses either, it even has a niche in hard countering scizor.
