Why the FUCK doesn't Cell Battery grant a one time use Electric immunity?

It's a single use item, and once you're switched, the boost is done. What the shit, Game Freak.

Because a one time immunity is broken as balls.
The SE REDUCING berries are valuable inVGC, a one time immunity by itself would be beyond fan fucking tastic.
Throw in stat boosts and WELP, you've just made entire types invalid.

it's only broken for attakers that can use the saved turn to kill the opponent. All thiosedefensive items are pure useless shit for a wall that is supposed to stay and can't punish the first error.

Okay, that kinda irks me. What if I don't want to grind in the Battle Hacktau for more points?

Do I think it should happen on every SE move? No. I would have liked to see it only work once whenever the pokemon is on the field.

More of a quality of life issue for me.
