Just hatched this beautiful sword after about 12 boxes. 31/31/24/31/31/31. More than usable IMO. Since the Froakie I hatched had 25 in SpDef I'd say I'm pretty lucky with my "flawed" IVs in my shinies. I might do some team breeding/testing next before I go for another MM project. Seeing that guy with the Metagross made me want to use one...

I caught her in a Master Ball because my Pokemon were insane with crits (the night before, I killed a Starmie with Lucario's bone rush because it hit 5 times and critted on 4 of them). MM cuts the odds of shiny down to about 1:2000 doesn't it?
In a horde its still out of 8000, so its 5:8000, so I guess that comes down to about 1:1600 odds.
But you have to consider MMing you can manipulate nature, iv's and the moves they get.
This gen I've gotten 2 mm and 1 horde.
I'd say just ev train in hordes and hope to get lucky and mm for shiny pokemon.

Nooo. I was IV breeding a Mareep so I could start shiny breeding but I was using my 6IV jap ditto. Like 10 eggs in out pops a pink mareep, only got perfect hp, attack and defense. If only that attack was sp. attack I could live with this.

Spent about 10 hours on that route looking for Gulpin and Scraggy, and probably about 18 hours on Route... 12(?) for Mareep and the others on that route.

Only horde shiny I've gotten was a random Durant in Terminus Cave. That's actually how I started in this thread.
