>>17467043>The best way to go about it is to just ignore the commentsYou're an ignorant fool if you believe this. They already dug a grave upon themselves by releasing it first and having to take it away, from a business perspective.
And its current stand doesn't help at all for the image of the company. For every day that passes that they don't release information, or at least progress on the release of PokeBank (Server information being optional), lesser trust on the install base will remain. You do realize how much of a backlash this will have if nothing is released BEFORE February ends, do you?
>>17465284>And they said digital services and the cloud network would be the way of the futureIt actually is, as long as you're prepared. To be sincere, none of the three companies are really prepared to embrace cloud networking, not because they can't handle it [save Nintendo, they're still learning late the basics of that], it's due to not having the proper network from ISPs anywhere in the world, but that's another story.
>>17466727>The notion of Nintendo/GF taking the service offline to improve its hack detection isn't too farfetch'd.Stop deluding yourself about that. NOTHING ELSE than what the program checks already. can be added; and the hack checks work well. They stop the completely illegal stuff and let the "legal hacks" go through. If they were to add another thing to check, they both risk to get it unchecked in a matter of minutes, as well as risking to getting into "False positives" on certain PID detections.
I don't know where do you guys get these ideas of holy hacking detection, but you're being way too optimistic about nothing, seriously.
