You have no idea how many copies of R/S were sold do you.
The fact that it sold as well as it did despite the poor sales of the GBA is pretty amazing.

Why do people like the Emerald Battle Frontier so much? They act as if it was the best thing ever, but all I remember being any fun was the Tower and Factory Facilities

The problem with Champion Wally would be that his signature Pokemon is shared with Diantha.

Unless they used him to introduce Mega Gallade.

I guess it's because it was more than just battles.
The Pyramid had exploration.
The Pike had surprises that could leave you pretty much fucked at times.
The Dome was the original PWT.
The Arena battles with a set amount of turns.
Also they were a lot more challenging than the one we got in gen 4.

I guess so, is that bad? All I'm saying is that I don't see the fun in having to do go through the facilities just to get to the battles. The factory was challenging because it had random pokemon for you to use so you didn't know what you would get, but at the same time it was fun because you could just battle right away
