Bashful isn't exactly a bad thing. Sure, it doesn't get any boost in a stat, but it's better than getting a Nature that actually hinders a stat that your Kirlia will need.

Bashful is better than Adamant for example.

So yeah, that should actually be a pretty solid Kirlia

I think i am actually on about 90ish, I dont count exact numbers because it'd probably depress me, but I have never MMd a shiny before. I have tried and given up after 2 or 3 boxes.
But now I have a chance of a 5iv, Timid Cyndaquil being shiny, so a shiny I could actually use if I ever start battling. So I am not giving up on this one.
If it ends up with 3 ivs or less though I might actually wage war on game freak.

Trying for a Shiny Ralts, my very first shiny other than the LOR Gyarados. I wasn't counting my eggs by the box at first, and just hatching them 5 at a time. Not sure how far in I am other than almost one box of eggs.

Hatched this guy last week, and neglected to post him - on box 15ish of my next project - a reclaim of a shiny Noibat that I lost because I traded it to my other copy and subsequently lost the cart.... Better breeding tools this time, and doing it with a premier ball - easily my favorite shiny, and I hate myself for losing it.

Nothing too special, but I've been looking for one of these to add to my collection for a while. Finally found one on the GTS for a 91+ Kyurem. Mine was only 70 so it was a frantic rush to get the rare candies from the Pokeshop. Everything worked out though, and I'm happy.

How do you guys organize your PC's?

Jesus Christ, I might rethink going for Sableye later. At the moment I'm hatching Tyrunt eggs. It's not too bad, I'm only a few boxes in but that's because it takes fucking forever to hatch these T-rex eggs.

I heard that in X/Y the IVs and natures are set when collecting the egg from the day care guy but the shinyness isn't set until you hatch it. Is this true?

I've heard that all data is determined as soon as the egg is generated, so once the Day Care man turns around it's predetermined whether it's shiny or not. If it were possible to SR eggs until they were shiny I doubt people would be counting hatched eggs by boxes.

I'm looking for a little help here.

I'm MMing for a shiny Pumpkaboo. I have a foreign Impish female holding an Everstone with 31/x/31/x/31/31 (SpA is useless so it's essentially perfect besides the Attack stat).

Then I have an American Male holding Destiny Knot with 31/31/31/x/x/31 so it's only missing SpDef.

Bred them together for awhile trying to get a baby that has 5IVs but the absolute best I'm getting is 4IVs, sometimes as low as 2 IVs.

Recently a female hatched with 31/31/31/x/31/x so I swapped out the foreign female for this one in the hopes that it will inherit the needed IVs easier, considering now they would both have perfect Attack. But I'm still getting similar results.

Which female do you think I should use to get the 5IV child? I can hold off on MM for awhile if it will increase my chances by using the non-foreign female.

you should get parents with mirrored iv spread to minimize the chances of really bad rolls.
a foreign parent with 5 IV would help you a lot anyway. shouldn't be hard to get on /vp/ since any european pokes works for you.

Oh my God this is like something out of a fairy tale, so I've been trying to breed a Shiny Charmander for a week and went through 10 boxes of charmander eggs and I was just getting so frustrated. I was getting to the last box and hatching them telling myself if I don't get one, I'm probably going to give up for a while. Then, on the very last egg, of my last line of eggs in my last box, I got this! This is the first pokemon I've MM'd and I can't belive it was so perfect. I also has HA Solarpower and Timid with perfect 5ivs 31/x/31/31/31/31 and it only took my a week! This is so awesome!
