So I thought I'd write an alternate X/Y ending to make the whole thing feel more "epic" and tie in with all the invoked drama. Let me know what you think!

A few days later…
Crowds of people gathered in Lumiose City to celebrate the five defenders of the Kalos region and to cheer for its new Champion, Calem!
(Calem and his four friends march towards the stage, and then stand in a row.)
SYCAMORE: What an amazing turnout! All these people are here to celebrate your achievements.
(Sycamore hands out the Honor of Kalos.)
SYCAMORE: I’d like to present you with the Honor of Kalos for the bravery you showed battling Team Flare!
(Calem is about to take the medal, when suddenly the ground shakes.)
SYCAMORE: Huh?
(The ground shakes again.)
SYCAMORE: Oh là là…
TIERNO: These tremors… they aren’t anything you’d want to dance to…
TREVOR: That certainly couldn’t have come from a Pokémon…
SHAUNA: We should go and investigate. Come on, Big C!
SYCAMORE: I’ll be waiting here for you once the tremors clear up. We’re counting on you!
(The player regains control. He moves to the next area. More vibrations occur, and his four friends follow him.)
SERENA: It’s coming from the Prism Tower!
AZ (offscreen): Wait.
(AZ walks onscreen.)
SHAUNA: Wh- who are you?
AZ: These vibrations are all too familiar.
Let me come with you.
(The ground shakes again, and the player regains control. He enters the Prism Tower/Lumiose Gym.)
BONNIE: Something’s up with the tower… You can’t use the elevator in emergencies like these, so I opened up the stairs.
