These Pokemon are then sorted into lists, with Ubers and OU (Overused) at the top, and RU and NU (Rarely Used and Never Used) at the bottom.
"Smogonfags" insist that A) Smogon's tier lists are infallible, B) Only top-tier Uber and OU Pokemon are "real Pokemon", and C) anyone that uses Pokemon outside of Smogon-approved Uber/OU Pokemon is a casual pleb. Other tier lists such as VGC are considered irrelevant. Smogonfaggotry is essentially "Fox only, Final Destination, no items", except for Pokemon instead of Super Smash Bros. Smogon itself doesn't quite work that way.
Of course, there's just as much bellyaching by "Karenfags", who insist the opposite: A) tires don exits, B) you should use whatever Pokemon you want in high-level play, no matter how bad they are in battle, and C) anyone that uses Uber/OU Pokemon, even for reasons like "they look cool" or "I like [X] types" is an elitist scrub.
