The third version always makes the other two feel redundant to play. It makes that entire file feel inferior with absolutely no reason to even play it outside of catching a few exclusives.
Like, why play Sapphire or Ruby when there's Emerald? And why play Diamond or Pearl when there's Platinum?
They were heading the right direction with B2/W2, but unfortunately I'm thinking it was purely for monetary gain rather than considering that a straight upgraded third version just shits all over those who bought one of the two original games to begin with.
I simply hope we see no upgraded or sequel, and instead they move onto a new region.
