PokeBank continues to be a problem for Nintendo. Due to a mixture of incompetence, xenophobia and pure bad luck PokeBank doesn't come out in 2014 for the west.

Sony steps in. Sony gets Pokebank fixed and released, in the process also deals with clonned and hacked pokemon on the GTS/WT.

As per the deal they signed, Sony now gets one, and only one, GameFreak Pokemon game for the Vita.

It would be called Pokemon V, Volcarion would be the cover mascot.

It would be Pokemon XY, except the main character is 17 instead of 10, move tutors are avaible, and there would be some bullshit mechanic that lets you catch them ALL. It would be a little more difficult.

It would sell on the Pokemon name alone. Sony would then try to sell it in a pack with Persona4Golden and Gravity Rush.

Sony doesn't need Pokemon. Nintendo does, unless it decides to get off its ass and get more third-party support. Console-specific development got Nintendo through the Great Video Game Crash, but it can only get it so far.

Fortunately, Nintendo has enough profitable in-house franchises and a good enough reputation to at least survive.

Nintendo has all of those you listed, Sony actually isn't getting a Monster Hunter.
Also Nintendo has the good part of SE (not shitty waifu final fantasy, but BD), and SMT.
