Let's be honest: Gen 4 pretty much sucks. Besides Platinum the games aren't very good, the entire dex is filled with mostly awful evolutions of past Pokemon like pic related, or mostly legendaries, which I don't have a problem with most of their designs, but theres so many and a lot of them are useless/pointless (Manaphy, Phione, Regigigas, Heatran). The rest of the dex is meh or awful for the most part. The starters are subpar. The only really likable looking one is Torterra. Just a shitty gen really. Gens 5 and 6 are way better by comparison, and Gen 6 only has 3/4 of the mons that 4 had. Can we all agree Sinnoh was really the low point of the series?
