Most likely. Before X/Y came out I could honestly say that W2 was the most enjoyable game I played on a DS.But now it just feels so gross to play.

why would you do this to yourself? you didnt play it before, so you dont have any "old bros" to transfer over anyway. i havent played since gen 3 and completed my national dex in X about a week ago.

Not only do you have to beat the elite four, the place to transfer your pokemon from previous games is in the last route you get to in the game. It's just past those workers East of Nimbasa city who have blocked off the road.

Black 2, IMO, gets way better after the Elite Four. You can do the Black Tower, the PWT, the Battle Subway, which are all more fun than the main quest.

Why were BW's early routes so shitty?
2 Normal types and a Dark type.
XY throws tons of stuff at your face from the start.
I know it's all "156 new pokes so can't put them everywhere".
But Gen 1 gave you mankey, the Nidorans, caterpie and weedle for flavor.

The feeling is natural, OP. Personally, I liked BW 1 and 2 back in their time, but the lack of a more elaborate environment akin to Gen VI just breaks the immersion for me once I got back to the game. Now the MIDIesque music sounds wrong, the sprites look off, and the battles aren't as exciting.

Same goes for HGSS, which I loved in my first playthrough even after Johto looked gross after I played it three times: I start playing Black and then go back to restart a save on SS which I couldn't even bring to complete.

does it matter if you get black or white instead of black 2 or white 2? can you still transfer from black and white? and what is the difference between black/white and black2/white2? i completely skipped out on gen 5 and have no idea

Transfer save to legit cart

This is the one I used to transfer initially. Didn't know I needed to beat the game though, so I'm gonna have to do it again
